For years, I’ve wanted to start a blog. Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve loved writing and this seemed like the right thing to do.
And in fact, I did start a Google Blogger blog a couple years back. I wrote maybe 10 posts and after that, it just faded away, I guess.
Earlier this year, when I decided to start a blog, I decided that if I was doing this, I would see it through or not at all. So I thought, it doesn’t matter how often I blog, as long as I keep it consistent. And eleven months later, 99 blogs later, here’s my 100th blog.
Writing has been something that I’ve always been passionate about. I learnt to speak English when I was about 3 years old and was visiting a cousins in Dubai. Not able to follow the conversation between her and all her friends, I came back to India determined to learn! And there began my love for the language.
Writing for school and assignments, and a wired creativity, I realised that irrespective of whether I was good or bad, I had a penchant for the language and writing in it.
To this day, I write because I love to.
It is the one hobby that will never lose my interest. It is the one passion that’ll always burn in me. It’s the one thing I’ll always love doing.
And that’s as patriotic as I get about writing. Cheers.
